Crypto Trading Simulator Patch Notes & Re-Test Checklist
Official Steam changes translated into what you should verify in your next session.
How this page works
Official Steam news always wins. This page summarizes verified announcements for Crypto Trading Simulator Early Access and turns them into re-test scripts. Cross-check dates on Steam before rewriting your playbook in How to Trade or How to Survive Bills.
Patch 0.1.1 — First hotfixes (11 August 2026)
Shipped hours after Early Access went live on Steam, driven by launch-day reports.
Bug fixes
- Hunger & thirst reset: Values no longer wipe after loading a save.
- Character drift: Attempted fix for uncontrolled movement without input—re-test and report if it persists.
- Daily Target quest: Day 2 $200 profit target should progress correctly.
- Quest save corruption: Duplicate late-game quest IDs that could break save/load are fixed.
- Quest progress drop: Buy, Sell, and Market quest progress should persist after load.
- Ultra-wide resolutions: 3440×1440 and 2560×1080 added to the resolution list (developer notes limited self-test on 16:9).
- Mining income: Fee was counted twice; mining payouts should match intended values.
New settings
- Invert Y-axis under Camera settings—see Controls and Settings.
Re-test after 0.1.1
- Eat or drink, save, reload—confirm hunger/thirst hold.
- Complete or advance a Buy/Sell/Market quest across a save boundary.
- If you mine, compare one payout window before expanding GPUs (How to Mine).
- On ultrawide, verify UI buttons stay on-screen.
Early Access launch snapshot (11 August 2026)
The launch post lists what you can do in the live build:
- Trade 14 cryptocurrencies with limit, stop loss, and take profit orders.
- Unlock margin after learning the basics (Margin Trading).
- Ride full macro cycles (accumulation → bull → euphoria → distribution).
- Watch whales accumulate, hunt stops, and pump-and-dump (Market Cycles and Whales).
- React to a living news feed and social timeline (Social Feed and Events).
- Build mining with rigs, GPUs, heat, and power bills (How to Mine).
- Stake holdings, use bank loans, and pay rent, internet, phone, water, and power.
Still expanding: rival AI traders, deeper contracts/dailies, software bot suite, more mining hardware—tracked on the Early Access Roadmap.
Demo Patch 1.0.1 — Quality of life (22 April 2026)
Many of these UX wins carry into how you should operate charts in Early Access:
- Precision charting: Trend lines sync to universal timestamps across timeframes.
- Visual trading guides: Pre-trade Limit / SL / TP markers plus average entry price on the chart.
- Wallet → chart: Click a coin in the wallet to open its chart.
- Order book fill: Click a book price to populate the order price field.
- Dynamic fees: Fees fluctuate with news flow and volume (demo earlier used fixed fees).
- UI/stability: Off-screen button fixes, wall objects staying after load, quest cards toggle via button or TAB, tutorial polish, localized PnL displays.
Practice the visual order workflow in How to Read Charts and Controls and Settings.

Reporting quality
Good reports include build timing, steps, expected versus actual, and hardware from System Requirements. Send them via Steam discussions or Discord linked from the Community Hub.
Keep a personal changelog: date, what changed, which guide to reread. Quiet patches still deserve a two-minute smoke test—open charts, feed, cash versus bills—before you assume nothing moved.
