Crypto Trading Simulator Trading Strategies Tier List
Named playbooks you can rehearse while Early Access systems expand.
Strategy beats impulse
This page ranks Crypto Trading Simulator trading approaches for the spot-first Early Access reality. Each playbook includes when to use it, when to ban it, and which wiki tools support it. Master these before dreaming about bot grids or high leverage from the roadmap.
Fundamentals live in How to Trade and How to Read Charts.
S-tier playbooks
Bill-safe continuation
Trade with the trend only after the cash floor is green. Enter on pullbacks to structure with predefined invalidation. Best default for most sessions.
Event pause
When the social feed detonates, intentionally take zero new risk for one information cycle. Ranked S-tier because not-losing is a strategy—see Social Feed and Events.
Planned scalp with fee math
Tiny momentum scalps only after break-even including fees still makes sense. Banned during fee-spike events.
A-tier playbooks
Range fade
Fade edges of a clear sideways market using RSI or Bollinger context. Ban during strong narrative trends.
Post-panic reclaim
After a hack-style dump stabilizes, trade reclaim levels with half size. Requires patience and Risk and Security discipline.
Achievement grind micro-trades
Small, boring trades aimed at process reps or gentle progress toward milestones without threatening bills.
B-tier playbooks
Narrative anticipation
Position early around anticipated airdrop hype. Higher variance; cap risk hard.
Mean-reversion after band expansion
Advanced; easy to catch falling knives if structure disagrees.
C-tier / avoid for beginners
- Revenge doubles
- All-in rumor market orders
- Averaging down without a prewritten plan
- Trading while hunger or fatigue systems are screaming
- Pretending margin tactics before margin tools exist

Review loop
After each session, grade playbook adherence, not just PnL. Pair with Coin Focus so strategies are not scattered across too many instruments. If patches change volatility, revisit Patch Notes and adjust size via the Position Risk Planner.
Sibling pages
Compare spending order in Upgrade Priority and instrument emphasis in Coin Focus. Beginners should still complete Getting Started.
Rehearsal schedule
Pick one S-tier and one A-tier playbook per week. Rehearse them until boredom sets in—that is when discipline becomes automatic. Log deviations honestly. If you break rules because of feed FOMO, reread Social Feed and Events before expanding size.
Strategy and tools
Every playbook still ends at the calculators: bills first, then position size. Bookmark the Tools hub beside this tier list so strategy never floats free of arithmetic.
Playbook failure postmortems
After a broken rule, write which playbook you claimed to use and which forbidden C-tier behavior you actually ran. Most blowups are mislabeled revenge doubles. Naming the failure restores the tier list’s purpose: ranks are only useful if you admit when you left them.
Multi-session campaigns
String three Survival days, two Skill days, and one Expansion day into a weekly campaign. Expansion day is the only day cosmetics may be considered, and only after the bill planner smiles. That cadence pairs strategies with Office Upgrades without letting the shop drive the meta.
Extended rehearsal notes
Record voice notes after sessions if typing feels slow: which playbook, which rule broken, which bill number mattered. Spoken honesty often reveals revenge faster than polished journals. Then translate the note into one rule edit before the next launch. Strategies improve by subtraction more than by adding exotic entries.
If you cannot name your playbook in one breath before entry, you are improvising. Improvisation is allowed in jazz, not in rent week. Return to S-tier templates until naming is automatic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best strategy for day one?
Bill-safe continuation with tiny size, plus the event pause rule. Read [Getting Started](/guides/getting-started/) and [How to Survive Bills](/guides/how-to-survive-bills/).
When do bot strategies rank up?
After automation ships and you can configure risk caps. Until then, manual playbooks remain S-tier.
Can I mix playbooks in one session?
Yes, but pick a primary. Mixing revenge doubles with range fades is how accounts unravel.
